eCREW at the World Sustainable Energy Days 2022

The WSED 2022 attracted more than 600 people – most of which were entrepreneurs, managers & sales people, scientists, CEOs of energy utilities, regulation and policy makers and some interested citizens).

eCREW was part of the four days event (5-8th of April). Johannes Slacik from EI-JKU presented a Poster Presentation and talked to interested people about the eCREW business model and its three Lighthouse Communities.

Obviously, the market is ready for energy communities and the eCREW approach is much appreciated by start-up communities, energy utilities and software providers. For many visitors, the digital plattform (provided by Green Pocket) was of central interest to them.

However, smart meter applications and the necessary infrastructure of smart grids are a contingency for implementing the eCREW approach. As it turns out, in countries like Slovenia (and therefore all old Yugoslavian countries) there is a lack of existing smart infrastructure while their interest in establishing energy communities is growing.

We look forward to getting in touch with Follower Communities (no matter the circumstance) and to discussing with you about your future local opportunities.
